Our welcoming receptionist staff members are happy to help you begin your recovery journey answering any insurance, scheduling, or billing questions you might have before your appointment. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete all necessary paperwork. You can complete the forms online by following the easy steps of your Initial Appointment confirmation. Please wear comfortable clothing to your appointments, such as athletic wear. Sneakers or runners are required in the gym area and anti slippery socks must be worn for Pilates equipment use. A drink bottle would be useful to rehydrate during your workout session and you can always refill it at our drink station.

Your first visit will include a comprehensive evaluation which comprises an assessment of your current functional deficits, pain level and posture, flexibility, strength, balance and endurance. Your physiotherapist will explain the clinical findings, diagnosis, recovery and treatment options for your specific condition. Your physio will then proceed to gain consent from you to start treating your condition. We understand and appreciate that you have a right to participate in the decision-making process of your health requirements. All our staff are dedicated in allowing patients this option. After having your treatment done, you will be sent home with a clear understanding of your recovery pathway, home stretches, strengthening exercises and a specific program to follow until your next appointment.  

Our practice operates by appointments Only. Please allow 45 minutes for your Initial Assessment and 30 minutes for follow up appointments.  Consultations  of 45 minutes are available for more than one treatment area or more than one injury. Longer appointments of 60 minutes are also available for more complex cases. Our receptionist could assist you with booking the right amount of time for your needs. We also offer short consultation of 15 minutes for Brace fitting or Strapping/taping appointment. Telehealth consultations are also available to ensure continuity of treatment while you are away or can not get to your appointment.

• Fees are to be paid at the time of the consultation
• We will Claim your Private Health Fund directly. Any gap can be paid by cash or card after your appointment has concluded.
• We require 6 hours notice for cancellations, otherwise you will be charged with a Late Cancellation Fee payable before your next appointment
• Late Cancellation or No Show Fee: $40
• If you are up to 10 minutes late for your appointment a shorter consultation could still happen. If you are late more than 10 minutes your appointment will be rescheduled so our clinicians are not running late.

You can call us to book your appointments or you can visit our website www.activetimephysiotherapy.com.au and click on the  “book appointment” button and book the appointment time that most suits you. Make sure you complete the "Patient Registration Form" sent to your email before your first appointment so there is less or no paperwork to do on arrival. If you forget, don't stress, you can always do this on arrival, just allow yourself 10 min before your appointment  to fill your form.

You can rest assured that we will send you a Text message  the day before your appointment. That will give you enough time to reschedule if need it and to avoid Late cancellation Fees or No Show Fees. You will receive from time to time an email from us with our latest promotions, discounts or any important changes in our Practice policies. 

We will ensure everyone feels safe and well looked after in our premises. Therefore, we reserve the right to change, move or delete an appointment as well as the right to Not schedule any further appointments if your conduct, attitude or manners are aggressive or not respectful towards any of our staff, clinicians or other patients.  For more information see our Privacy Policy here.

Your clinical notes and every document in your file is a confidential document. Our policy is to keep your personal health information safe. This information is only available to authorised personnel. Children can not be seen without parent consent and treatment options need to approved by parent.
